Fiyinfoluwa Elegbede

Fiyinfoluwa is actively involved in the spread of the Ideas of Liberty on the African Continent and beyond through new media initiatives.

He has written published articles on Free Market blogs as well as an op-ed in nationally circulated daily in Nigeria such as The Nation Newspapers, Omojuwa.com and AfricanLiberty.org

Fiyinfoluwa exhibits an entensive New Media advocacy and publicity experience having been involved in a Presidential Campaign of a former Nigerian Presidential Aspirant in the 2011 General Elections, Dele Momodu, in the capacity of New Media Initiatives geared at expanding the reach, followership and popularity of the presidential aspirant. That campaign was adjudged as arguably the most popular and best Social Media-utilized campaign among Nigerian youths which represents an estimated 70% of the population. Prior the election, he co-manages a social media account of over 8,000 fans of the aspirant's parent company, Ovation International Magazine.

He also has an influential and reckoned new media presence on major social media networks where he continues to disseminate the ideas and policies of liberty through social commentary, news reports, events and personal opinions. He has about 5,000 interactive fans on his personal facebook account plus additional followers on other managed pages.

He has also given talks to several hundreds of College Students in Nigeria and an International gathering of pro-free society students in Washington DC on the Ideas for a Free Society, New Media publicity and organizing events in college campuses.

An Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) Alumni, Fiyinfoluwa has attended several free society seminars and conferences, also contributing to the book, "Why Peace" (www.why-peace.com), which advocates Peace as precursor to global Economic Development.

Dedicated to the spread, acceptability and practice of the ideas of Freedom vis-a-vis Rights to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness, he is committed to the realization of Open and Free Markets in African States, the reduction in size and scope of Government and governance, upholding the rule of raw, and the respect and defense of the Rights of Individuals.

Fiyinfoluwa studies Public Relations at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), a former and currently functions as an Associate of AfricanLiberty.org and a weekly Columnist on its VOICE OF LIBERTY Project.
