Brittany Wyatt

Brittany Wyatt is an alumni of Howard University, graduating with a degree in TV production and a minor in Theater Arts. While attending Howard she actively invested in her craft both on and off campus by interning at MTV, Dream Factory, and Nickelodeon, as well as participated in campus organizations including the college TV station as well as videographer for I.AM.WE Contemporary Dance Co. Along with her passion for mass media comes her passion for the development of children. Her goal is to help curve the negative influences of the media by teaching technical aspects of video production. With that goal in mind she worked at D.C. Parks and Recreation and Wonders Childcare, teaching video production. For 3 years Brittany has been involved in the production and distribution of the film Thirteen Percent, an investigative documentary uncovering the issue of HIV/Aids in the black community. Her efforts in this film afforded the opportunity for her to attend the San Diego Black Film Festival where the film was screened and nominated for Best GLBT film. Most recently, Brittany pursued her career in media and the military by working at BET Networks and being a human resource officer for the Army Reserves. Currently, Brittany serves as the Assistant Director for an up and coming web series called "We Got a Good Thing". Her biggest influences and inspirations include her mother Helen Wyatt, Maya Angelou and Oprah. She holds these woman as role models in her life because of their ability to overcome any circumstance and succeed as phenomenal women.
