Solar in California

The sun already powers our society, we're just using too much old dirty sun mixed with dead dinosaurs and shrubbery. I'm a big fan of shifting to the cleaner fresher stuff.

In 2006 I started working in the solar energy sector with these good fellas. I started out doing lots of design and permitting work (learned a ton) and later did some technical sales, project deployment, and business operations work.

I grew up in Silicon Valley, and because I enjoyed playing with legos, and taking things apart, I did my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

For a short time after college I worked simultaneously for Hewlett Packard and Apple Computer. I have a solid understanding of physics and I'm comfy with tech at the command line level on up. If I don't know how to do something, set me loose and I'll figure it out. I love a challenge.

Personality wise, I'm an extrovert (ENFJ). I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and I'd like to explore the customer facing side of solar.

I'm a decent biker and runner, and after some open water swimming practice, I'd like do my first triathlon in 2017. On an unrelated note, I like crisp apples and I don't mind spots on them.

Here's a portfolio of some solar projects I've worked on, and here's a readers digest version of my resume.
