_____________

Formed around 1987 by four guys in a dormitory bathroom, 36 Madison Avenue was Drew University's first a cappella group. Though a few more have come along, "MadAve" is proud to be Drew's only all-male group.

We've come a long way from four guys harmonizing in a bathroom. Over the past twenty years, MadAve has released six albums, competed and taken home awards twice at the International Championship of Collegiate a cappella, and been on numerous tours of the east coast. We host several concerts a semester, including Jamfest, the largest campus events of the year.

MadAve performs a wide variety of music, with a repertoire that includes songs by Jay Sean, Rufus Wainwright, Say Anything, R. Kelly, Mumford and Sons and much more. We sing all over the place, from middle schools to churches to soccer games to nursing homes. MadAve is well-loved for our tight harmonies, energetic performances, and off-beat brand of humor. We're currently recording a new album, due out this year.
