
A former entrepreneur and recovering superwoman, creative director and photojournalist, lately I put most of my own creative juice into writing. I like to share stories about my life as a miracle survivor and chronic pain patient, mother of four, road cycling junkie and horsewoman.
As a big thinker I love that my passion for Egyptian Arabian horses has allowed me to play in a pretty big sandbox. The result is that I've established meaningful connections with people of all walks of life around the world who share my love for these ethereal creatures.
As one of the lucky inhabitants of Austin, Texas (lakeside in West Austin, baby) I wake up every morning in a virtual treehouse and live every day like I'm on vacation. Austin is so much more than just the live music capital of the world. Austin is where geeks, artists, entrepreneurs and hippies alike live life on their own terms. It's a place with ample opportunity to prove what you're made of where the rubber meets the road.
I wear a sarcastic wit proudly. It's a genetic curse from my father. And I can't help one bit the "Darlin's" and the "Sweetie Pies" that escape my lips daily. That's from my Southern belle side of the family.
