The Center For Counseling Health Resources

As a dually licensed treatment facility, The Center for Counseling and Health Resources offers management of a wide variety of psychological issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). The facility, which provides whole-person care in an effort to create a place of hope for its clients, personalizes all of its treatment programs. Each PTSD program starts with a comprehensive assessment that includes psychological tests for depression and spiritual well-being, medical tests for nutritional needs, and chemical and hormonal profiles. The Center also offers treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), eating disorders, and a host of other issues.

The Center’s founder, Dr. Gregg Jantz, began his career as an eating disorder specialist, and the facility still operates eating disorder recovery programs today. The facility treats clients suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, food addiction, emotional eating, and other eating disorders. As a place of hope, the Center places a premium on making its clients comfortable. Its programs take place in an all-inclusive, private setting and incorporate cutting-edge techniques in treating eating disorders. Each client’s program begins with a comprehensive evaluation, and most clients who enroll in the eating disorder programs go on to remain in them for four to 12 weeks.

Dr. Gregg Jantz opened The Center for Counseling and Health Resources more than 25 years ago, after his experiences as a counselor showed him that the piecemeal approach being taken by many treatment specialists was insufficient to the task of healing people’s problems. Today, the facility provides a place of hope in western Washington for both men and women. Treatment is available at a much lower cost than in most hospital-based recovery programs.
