Greetings, I’m Abhay. I'm a problem solver.

Currently, I'm working as a Senior Software Engineer with EAB Global Inc., an education technology firm focused on solving different problems in the higher-education space. Some of my core responsibilities include building REST APIs (Python/Django), designing data models (Django/PostgreSQL), building UI pages (in-house framework), and deploying services to AWS. I also mentor new hires and junior engineers to bring them up to speed with our technology stack.

Previously, I worked with Cerner Corporation and IHS Markit where I did different things ranging from developing open source REST APIs to writing SQL stored procedures.

In my leisure, I work on my personal projects and contribute to open source. Check out my GitHub repo.

Besides coding, I also enjoy reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Some of the causes I care about are world hunger and mental health.
