Alton Dougherty

I have found ethics to be one of the most interesting subjects for most of my life. I am now 32 years of age, I have been a graduate student and now make a living as a professor at a university. In fact, I teach this as an intro course to freshmen with varying levels of interest in this subject. What I have always found amazing about this subject is the fact that different people have different ideas about what is right and wrong. Some people tend to assume that there are right ideas and wrong ideas. However, in society, you will find that not every person thinks in the same way. Even amongst family members, there are many variables when it comes to the right and wrong thing to do. Since I have such a passion for this subject, I study it both in a professional setting and through the Internet every day.
