As a multidisciplinary artist and choreographer I have developed an artistic approach that makes choreographic out of relationships and visual processes. An anti-aesthetic approach explores the deconstruction of visual and audio materials, manipulating perception using the uncanny and ephemeral. I create a dynamic between myself, the work and the audience with clear intent to challenge or disrupt typical viewing experiences and create power relationships, challenging the viewer by presenting a situation that requires their collaboration to be completed. I present a surreal window into reality within a problematic narrative inviting varied engagement. Choices that see the the audience given limited information amongst physical processes creates an engaging scenario that makes performers out of objects and audience.
