Anne Westcott

Anne Westcott

Anne Westcott was born and bred in Minneapolis, and is actively working and living in Los Angeles, CA. Anne is a Meisner and Chekhov professionally trained actor who has continued her passion, studying improv at the Uprights Citizens Brigade and at Joel Asher's Studio.

Anne found her passion for acting in middle school plays, discovering her initial love for science fiction with "The Twilight Zone." She spent her university days between acting, keeping up with science fiction series, and playing collegiate fast pitch.

Anne's athleticism naturally gave way to being a strong and adventurous actor in physical comedy and sword fighting. She is currently a member of the Academy of Theatrical Combat and was thrilled to perform at Comic-Con promoting the TV show "Revolution" on NBC.

Currently, Anne is the lead in a horror film that is in pre-production. You can also catch her in the web series "Safe Word" in episodes 2, 3 and 6.

Anne is the type of girl that can deliver a punch line on "The Big Bang Theory,'' and fight with fervor on "Game of Thrones." She credits her versatile comedic and dramatic range to her training with Lev Mailer at the Lev Mailer Actors Studio. The definitive, "The Film Actor's Complete Career Guide," listed Lev Mailer among the best "in teaching of acting techniques for beginning, intermediate, and professional actors in Los Angeles," honoring him on the same list as his own teacher, Sanford Meisner.
