Ashok Mehta

A talented dentist with over two-and-a-half decades of professional experience, Ashok Mehta, DDS, oversees offices and affiliated practices in five different Orange County and Greater Los Angeles communities. Founded by Dr. Mehta in 1985, his practice now encompasses locations in Los Alamitos, Pico Rivera, Tustin, Brea, and Diamond Bar. Dr. Ashok Mehta and his staff of more than 25 employees provide Southern California clients with an array of dental care services, including oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign clear braces, endodontics, laser dentistry, prosthodontics, and veneers.

Trained in Ahmedabad, India, at Gujarat University's Government Dental College and licensed to practice in California since 1980, Dr. Ashok Mehta specializes in full mouth reconstruction, dental implants, and advanced cosmetic dental surgery. He provides porcelain inlays and onlays, also known as partial crowns, for clients who need a conservative solution for broken teeth or fractured fillings. Dr. Mehta also designs and places fixed bridges and porcelain veneers. Patients often request teeth whitening, a popular solution to dental stains due to changes in the interior mineral structure or from tobacco, coffee, and other foods. His staff seeks to educate clients in preventive care of teeth and gums to avoid costly dental work as much as possible. Dr. Ashok Mehta’s practice adheres to the strictest standards of sterilization as promoted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Colleagues have recognized Dr. Ashok Mehta’s expertise in his field by naming him to the Board of Directors for the Harbor Dental Society Foundation, a private organization comprised of more than 700 dentists in 28 cities in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. He functioned as a Trustee of the Indian Dental Association of California from 2009 to 2011 and a Delegate of the California Dental Association from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, Dr. Mehta has taught dental students at the University of Southern California on a part-time volunteer basis for three years, and in 2011 the university named him a Clinical Instructor at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
