Astor & Black

Founded in 2005, Astor & Black Custom Clothiers has built a solid reputation for providing unparalleled service and bespoke clothing. Offering both business and formal attire, Astor & Black works closely with each client to create superbly fitted garments that meet each client’s individual tastes and needs. Astor & Black’s team of professional clothiers sees clients in the privacy of their homes or offices to take measurements and assist the client in choosing customizations. Clients choose from a selection of premium materials in a wide variety of colors and textures from noted fabric manufacturers such as Dormeuil, Marzoni, and Scabal. Designed for durability and comfort, the suits feature hand-picked stitching, reinforced stitching, perspiration shields, hem protectors, a rubberized waistband, and surgeon cuffs.

Likewise, Astor & Black’s custom men’s shirts offer a variety of styles to choose from, including different pocket, collar, and cuff options. In addition to menswear, Astor & Black offers a line of clothing for women, which includes both dresses and business attire. As in the menswear line, each garment is fully customizable with many different colors, patterns, buttons, and monograms. Both men’s and women’s clothing can be ordered à la carte for clients seeking to augment their wardrobe with one or two garments or accessories, or in customized packages for clients desiring a more comprehensive change.

Led by founder and Chief Executive Officer David Schottenstein, Astor & Black’s executive team also boasts industry leaders such as Richard A. Dent III, Matt Schow, and Christian Boehm. When first conceptualizing the company's brand, Mr. Schottenstein visualized a company that provides premium suits and personalized service at an affordable price. Under Mr. Schottenstein’s stewardship, Astor & Black has attracted a number of high profile clients ranging from professional athletes to business executives. Today, the company continues to expand with locations throughout the United States and plans to have openings in Canada and Europe.
