Hi! I'm Aurélie. I'm currently a PhD student in computational linguistics (industrial funding) at the startup ERGONOTICS and the University of Lille 3 (France). My thesis is about the implication of encyclopedic knowledge in word formation. One of my tasks for Ergonotics is to constitute a semantic lexicon for a generation engine.

I'm very interested in new technologies and I think that natural language interfaces are the future because they are the easier way to talk to connected objects and to access complex data. In 2012, I created ORIZONTAL, a blog on Natural Language Processing (NLP), for diffusion of news about NLP, tutorials about tools (Stanford Parser...), applications testing, presentation of companies, list of job openings in NLP...

During my free time, my other interests are drums, photography, meditation, sports (badminton and basket ball), learning new languages (currently english and italian) and I confess, I like watching cats videos.

Curiosity is my nature!
