Short Bio: Creative writer. Journalist-turned award-winning filmmaker with projects across 4 continents.

Long Bio: In the past 15+ years, Azfar's clients have included international radio and television networks, non-profits, UN agencies, and the US State Department. He has produced radio, news/current affairs content, taught journalism/filmmaking at universities, and directed documentaries for CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera. As a creative director, Azfar has collaborated with Emmy and Oscar-award winning filmmakers, grassroots campaigns, and international storytelling initiatives.

He is the founder and executive director of the Institute of Canadian Archives, and a board member with the US-based Writing For Peace.
