Ben McDougal is a multimedia marketer who evolves ideas into reality and accelerates others through the art of connection.

Along with being an innovative community builder who understands the value of an engaged network, Ben is building smart beer flight technology at FliteBrite while continuing to bring people together with Jet Set Studio, which is an 11 year old company that develops interactive video game events throughout North America. Along with these entrepreneurial ventures, Ben retired from his web development career after 10 years and has been behind the pro-grade marketing at Drake Homes since 2013.

Ben's unmatched energy is also evident in his efforts within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, specifically through 1 Million Cups. After building the Des Moines chapter for 5+ years, Ben expanded his focus and since 2018, has been working inside the Kauffman Foundation as the Midwest Regional Rep for 1 Million Cups. This leadership role has him supporting, connecting and inspiring 55+ 1MC communities throughout 12 different states!

Ben creates positive change and loves the adventures in life. He also enjoys golf, Seth Godin, electronic music, travel, wine, craft beer, making nice things look nice, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
