Elizabeth Kelly-Peelle is an avid reader who enjoys the classics and counts authors such as Ernest Hemingway, Leo Tolstoy, and Albert Camus among her favorites. Having travelled throughout the regions, she enjoys cooking French and Asian dishes.

Community involved, Beth Kelly-Peelle has a strong interest in addressing ADHD and ADD in teens. She is also active in the areas of children’s obesity and children's literacy, and engages with Literacy Volunteers of America. Additionally, Ms. Peelle volunteers with Jumpstart in New York City, a nonprofit organization that connects AmeriCorps members with preschool children residing in low-income neighborhoods; a core focus of the organization is to bolster literacy and language skills in ways that enable them to bridge the achievement gap and succeed academically. Finally, she is a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
