In 2007, however, Bret Dudl sold his 401(k) investment firm in order to pursue his goal of developing Costa Rica’s foremost health and wellness community, La Joya Perfecta. Spanish for “The Perfect Jewel,” La Joya Perfecta is a community based on approximately 164 acres of land on Costa Rica’s noted Osa Peninsula, which contains some of the most biologically diverse collections of species in the world. In addition, the land on which La Joya Perfecta will be built features five waterfalls and stunning views of the ocean, and will offer modern amenities such as a retail village, boutique hotel, clubhouse, and various restaurants.

Bret Dudl’s La Joya Perfecta will offer an unparalleled health and wellness experience. Residents of the La Joya Perfecta community will gain access to a variety of health care and holistic professionals, including integrative medical doctors, personal trainers, massage therapists, nutritionists, and spiritualists.
