Bruce Furst, a music industry producer and President of Ashber Corporation, an entertainment licensing firm headquartered in Austin, TX has extensive experience in entertainment licensing, negotiations for film rights and distribution agreements, and music and film production. Mr. Furst has a long record of industry successes.
He leads Ashber Corporation in film distribution contract negotiations and in music licensing for films. In his role as a music producer, Bruce Furst produced the 2006 number-one selling album worldwide in Sony BMG Music’s Holiday Music Compilation category, “Christmas Classics: Yesterday, Today & Forever,” which featured music legends including Luther Vandross, Tony Bennett, Jessica Simpson, Babyface, and Christina Aguilera.
Mr. Furst is happy to see Aguilera's recent success as a star of the current hit movie Burlesque. As an executive movie producer, Bruce Furst has produced numerous films. One of his productions, Fly Kidz, featured Boo Boo Stewart, who went on to fame as Seth Clearwater in the Twilight Saga films Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Fly Kidz also starred actor and dancer Adam G. Sevani, who played Moose in Step Up 2: The Streets.
Bruce Furst continues to produce music and work in the film industry while pursuing a number of other media and entertainment projects. In addition to putting together a syndicated daily radio program, which he will host, Mr. Furst is producing a print media project in a new format designed with Lady Gaga in mind. He believes that his vision of the project will be a fit for Lady Gaga’s innovative and artistic “music universe,” as Bruce Furst referred to it in an industry speech.
