Bruce Gingrich

Richmond, Texas, United States

A Texas-based entrepreneur and CEO, Bruce Gingrich began his pharmaceutical operation, known as Lifechek Drug, in 1990 after he became aware of the margins of other pharmaceutical stores and decided to replicate their efforts. He enrolled in pharmacy school and bought his first pharmacy the day before he earned his license in August 1990. Bruce Gingrich worked alongside two pharmacy technicians every day until he achieved his profit goals. At that point, he began opening new stores throughout Texas with great success. He stopped working in the stores and, taking on the role of full-time CEO, focused on management of his company as a whole and the pursuit of new opportunities for expansion.

In recent years, Bruce Gingrich has begun to concentrate on the compounding side of the business with the founding of three compounding pharmacies. Additionally, he owns several pubs in Texas that are proving to be fruitful, especially The Pub Fountains in Stafford.

Gingrich was nominated Entrepreneur of the Year by the Ernst and Young (EY) Group and selected as a finalist for the 2014 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program for the Gulf Coast Area.
