Bryan Nystrom

I am currently working as a senior consultant for Chicago Software Solutions where I specialize in streaming media server customization. I am also the CTO and owner of Natara Software, Inc, a company that has specialized in mobile software development since 1998. My passion is gadgets and software development.

I am also into martial arts, in particular Tae Kwon Do and Hopkito. I'm currently a first degree black belt. I also teach TKD at my academy as an Intern Instructor, working toward my full instructorship.

I am married to my lovely wife Carolyn, and have 2 young children who keep both of us very busy. Both kids enjoy being in martial arts also, along with swimming, hockey, and soccer. We have 2 cats and a blacklab dog (who recently turned 15).

I was born and raised in the rural part of Illinois, about 150 miles from where I now live. My parents live on the farm where my kids LOVE to visit. I've always been a country boy at heart.

For relaxation, I love to travel to Canada with my father every year to go fishing for Northern Pike.
