Bryce Neier

Bryce Neier maintains a successful legal practice based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In addition to representing clients in family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense, Mr. Neier is an experienced international law attorney and has successfully argued complex cases in both state and federal courts.

Bryce Neier has worked on international child custody and abduction cases in which one parent takes the child to another country without the other parent’s consent. He has represented both U.S. citizens and foreign nationals in such cases, drawing upon the statutes of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction when possible. Signed by the United States and more than 50 other countries, this treaty offers parents a legal process for resolving child custody disputes across borders. When representing a client for a case involving a non-signatory country, Mr. Neier collaborates with the appropriate U.S. consulate in the nation.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Bryce Neier has represented numerous military personnel, including personnel stationed at Pope Air Force Base and Fort Bragg, in international child custody disputes. He has worked on cases involving several countries, including Canada, Columbia, Germany, Spain, Israel, and Japan.

Other family law issues that Bryce Neier handles regularly include divorce proceedings, property division, and spousal or child support. He takes on civil litigation cases involving civil rights, appellate law, and administrative law. Mr. Neier has extensive experience in both state and federal litigation.

A member of numerous regional legal associations, Bryce Neier holds a license from the North Carolina State Bar. He volunteers as an Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund, an organization that provides assistance on cases involving family values, religious freedom, and the right to life. Mr. Neier enjoys water skiing and traveling in his spare time.
