Buata Bawihtlung
Father in Aizawl, India
About Me
Hello! I am not very tall or thin, but I am full of energy. I have short black hair, black chinky eyes, and no facial hair. I am a devoted husband and a loving father, human at heart, always busy with my children.
I was born and raised in Khandaih Veng, Phullen (formerly Khandaih), a village established by Chief Vanphunga and later led by his son, Chief Awksarala.
Growing up in the village, I learned many rural skills. I worked in farming using traditional methods like Lovah, Thlam Sak, Buhtuh, Hlothlawh, and Buh Seng. I also learned different village handicrafts. These experiences shaped who I am today.
Now I live in the city, and I don’t get many chances to use those skills. Sometimes I worry that I may forget them, but they are still close to my heart.
I strongly dislike dishonesty and greed. I believe in living with integrity, humility, and compassion. I value righteousness and faithfulness, and I know that true wealth is not measured by money.
I may not be the best or the most talented, but I always try my best in everything I do. I believe that everyone has their own strengths and deserves respect.
I value money and comfort, but I value life itself, along with mental and physical health, much more.
When I was younger, I loved spending time with friends. Now, I find happiness in a simple and peaceful life at home with my wonderful wife.
From the Bawitlung clan, Lai by tribe, and Mizo by identity, I am proud to be MIZO.
