Dr. Charles Thomas Jr. is a multi-award winning social entrepreneur, educator, published author, radio personality, and concerned citizen. He has committed himself to service and philanthropic efforts and has varied experiences in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Charles strives to live according to the Renaissance ideal of broad learning and full engagement in life as a demonstration of human potential.

Within the non-profit sector, Charles serves as Chairman of the Board for OAR Fairfax, teaches Life Skills classes to men who are incarcerated and preparing for societal re-entry, volunteers as a Wish Granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is a pending Board member for Shelter House. Within the private sector, Charles serves as the Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and People Operations for an IT organization within the Intelligence Community. Charles also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development & Transformation, and Consulting Management & Practice.

Charles is a former Division 1 Student-Athlete, Sankofa Scholar, NAACP Senior of the Year, Rockne Student-Athlete of the Year, Arthur Ashe Scholar Athlete award winner, and two-time Big East Academic All-Star Team member. Charles was selected as the 2015 Emerging Influential (Under 40) Leader of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, a 2015 national 40 Under 40 Honoree by the Network Journal, a 2015 Alpha Sigma Nu Magis Medal winner, and the 2015 Northern Virginia Trustee Leadership award recipient presented by Leadership Fairfax. Charles was selected as a 2016 National Intelligence Professional Award recipient by the Director of National Intelligence and a 2016 Creighton University Outstanding Service to the Community award recipient.

Dr. Thomas earned Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Master of Business Administration, and Doctoral degrees. He is from Flint, MI and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and children.
