Cameron Grimes

I recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with dual degrees in Marketing and Computer Graphics. I am pursuing a career in one of my passions, advertising.

Growing up, I knew that I was going to be the next big rock star. My friends and I were going to start a band and make it big. But instead of learning to play an instrument, I spent my free time drawing logos and album covers for our band, dreaming about how we were going to enjoy our fame and fortune.

As you can tell, I am not a major rock star (though I still love Rock music), however; I still love to design and create. While pursuing my passions at UNC, I have had many great experiences to grow as professional the most significant being:

- I have had two internships in Social Media: in Events at the Greeley Tribune, and at The University of Northern Colorado. These internships have given me experience in developing social media strategies and tactics for established brands, creating and scheduling social media content both written and visual, and measuring and analyzing social media efforts.

- I have been an active member of the UNC Marketing Association as the Social Media Coordinator, and Co-President. In these leadership positions I have helped coordinate a team of officers to plan many club activities, and conduct reporting for our chapter.

- In the art program I have had multiple works of art chosen for various art shows, including the 2014 Annual Juried Art Show, 2013 Foundations Art Show, and 2014 UNC Gala Art Exhibit.
