Cardiac Monitoring Service

Irvine, CA

Utilizing its expertise in the areas of health care and instrumentation, Cardiac Monitoring Service has developed clinical-grade equipment that tracks the heart health of patients with cardiac conditions and delivers the data directly to their medical practitioners. Designed with precision and comfort in mind, the two leading devices developed by Cardiac Monitoring Service include the digital Holter monitor and the 30-day event monitor.

Worn over the chest for a period of 1 to 7 days, the digital Holter monitor captures the heart activity of patients as they go about their daily activities. Once the monitoring period has ended, the patient returns the Holter device to his or her physician, who in turn sends it to Cardiac Monitoring Service for data analysis. The company provides a detailed report of the patient’s condition to the physician, allowing for a complete overview of the patient’s heart condition and a proper recommendation for treatment.

In addition to the digital Holter device, Cardiac Monitoring Service offers a 30-day event monitor that tracks heart activity only when a patient experiences episodes such as dizziness, chest pain, or heart palpitations. Worn over a period of 30 days or more, the patient presses a button if he or she experiences one of these symptoms and the device records the electrical impulses of the heart. This recording of heart activity over a longer period of time enables physicians to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the patient’s heart condition and to begin any treatment if necessary.
