Carlos Rohm

An experienced financial professional with extensive interactions with Latin American business leaders, Carlos Rohm earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics in 1994 from the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon graduation, Carlos Rohm became an Associate for Chase Manhattan Bank. In his first professional post, Carlos Rohm acquired a deeper understanding of global business and was afforded many opportunities to travel throughout Latin America. His trips to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile provided extensive experience developing business partnerships between US and Latin American enterprises. In addition, Carlos Rohm syndicated bank loans for major South American corporations. After working three years, Carlos Rohm obtained a high-profile position with J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC. In that role, Mr. Rohm leveraged his expertise with Latin American businesses and markets. In this position he was responsible for private equity and venture capital investments in the region such as Mercadolibre.com, the first online auction site in the region, and Patagon.com, the leading online financial services company in the region. Subsequently, Mr. Rohm became the Chief Executive Officer of HSM Americas, Inc., a company that provides leadership development through seminars, conferences, publications, and training events. Furthermore, the firm’s team organizes the World Business Forum, which attracts thousands of prominent executives and business leaders each year. Presently, Carlos Rohm serves as a Partner for LCA Capital, a financial advisory firm that promotes global investment and business partnerships. LCA Capital has managed numerous business transactions for investors and sponsors of Latin American infrastructure development projects. In his current role, he promotes business opportunities and goodwill among North American and South American enterprises. Mr. Rohm currently serves as a Director of a number of real estate investment companies, including Nolaci Realty, Bordley Holdings, and Colca LLC. Outside of work, he is involved with charitable organizations benefiting Argentine children with cerebral palsy (AEDIN.org) and nonprofits promoting entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
