As a provider of outpatient mental health therapy to individuals, businesses and organizations in the Ogden, Utah area, Carolie Meccico has an impressive background of qualifications, expertise and mental health achievements. In addition to her work with individuals, Ms. Meccico trains businesses in team-building and team resolution conflict. She also offers employee assistance counseling, as well as Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and trauma management in the challenging event of serious workplace crises.

Carolie Meccico's commitment to ethical and responsible mental health care is reflected in all of her professional activities, including her numerous achievements and memberships. While still completing her education at the University of Utah College of Social Work, she was lauded with the James Garland Woolsey Memorial Award for Achievement and Promise in Health and Rehabilitation Services. Currently, her memberships in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC), and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) support every aspect of her professional and private mental health services and activities.

Carolie Meccico's professional achievements and charitable activities reflect her commitment to her field. She helps to raise awareness regarding the critical issues surrounding domestic violence as it affects every member of the community, functioning as a volunteer domestic violence advocate in Ogden. Ms. Meccico has been instrumental in community organization resulting in the creation of domestic violence shelter services, counseling and legal services for victims of domestic violence and voluntarily provides ongoing education at community crisis venues regarding the issue and impact of domestic violence on child and adult victims. She has been a presenter at several educational conferences regarding the issue of eating disorders including research about eating disorder intervention techniques and eating disorder prevention.

Recently, Carolie Meccico was the President of the Utah Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals foundation. She lives and practices in Northern Utah and manages a satellite counseling office in Southeastern Idaho as well.
