John is an engineer with 40 years’ experience in a variety of disciplines of technology. He has also enjoyed a career in music and event production, and has a diverse set of interests ranging from music to fly fishing and camping as well as motorsports, filmmaking and photography, technological innovation and startups. With family roots in colonial New England, John has lived all over the United States and loves to travel. Health, wellness and culinary arts have been a constant topic in his family as he grew up with a father occupied in industrial food preparation systems who kept current with the latest advances in nutrition and dietary science, and a mother who was a writer and archaeologist dabbling in the history of Central and South American native cultures.
