Colleen Murphy

A veteran of sales and advertising, Colleen Murphy employs her skills in these fields to aid CryoPen, Inc., as an Independent Representative. Throughout her career as an integration consultant, independent representative, and account manager, Murphy has worked in negotiation, management, budgeting, and implementation of sales initiatives. At CryoPen, she sells cryosurgical products that enhance a medical clinic's revenue as well as the quality of patient care. Previously, Colleen Murphy spent two years at CPC Pathology where she increased annual sales by 20 percent, helped create in-house laboratories, and improved the firm's brand recognition. Murphy started in sales after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Originally hired as an Account Executive with Adams Business Media, Colleen Murphy soon received a promotion to Group Sales Manager. In the latter role, she oversaw a staff of five, represented the company at trade shows, developed programs that rewarded top employees, and supervised promotional sales for seven magazines. After rising to the position of Group Publisher, Murphy managed individuals across the country and entered into contracts with expos and state associations on behalf of her firm. Having successfully risen in her career at Adams Business Media, Colleen Murphy ventured out to start Millennium Marketing Group, Ltd., an independent representative organization associated with her former employer Adams Business Media and with the American Rental Association. As the company's president, she advised clients on marketing strategies, placing advertising campaigns across several publications to maximize the companies' brands in markets that they serve, as well as built a network of professionals. In addition, she contracted individual reps to assist in marketing and sales efforts of the publications represented by Millennium Marketing. A resident of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Colleen Murphy counts golfing and water skiing among her favorite pastimes. Murphy also frequently assists at her local church and contributes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and American Cancer Society, Inc.
