A respected professional in the pharmaceutical field, Dr. Craig Gelband has garnered numerous awards and accolades. He has earned mentions in Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. For his work with Organon USA, Inc., a pharmaceutical manufacturer, he earned the Medical Affairs Unit Head Award two years in a row. Dr. Craig Gelband currently serves as senior medical director with Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Education, where he manages educational programs and materials geared toward a diverse array of clients in the pharmaceutical industry. In preparation for his career, Dr. Gelband studied zoology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He was extremely active on campus, playing both football and softball and always supporting the basketball team during home games. Dr. Craig Gelband then studied pharmacology in a graduate program at the University of Miami in Florida, earning a Ph.D. in the subject. After graduation, Dr. Gelband accepted a position with Abbott Pharmaceuticals as senior cardiovascular regional medical liaison. His duties included presenting product-specific educational programs.
