Craig William Taylor

Craig William Taylor, a technical engineer with more than a decade in his field, currently works for the biopharmaceutical firm Genentech, Inc. Genentech, one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies To Work For for the past 12 years, is considered the founder of the biotech industry and specializes in developing biopharmaceuticals and hormones to treat diseases such as cancer and asthma. Craig William Taylor works as a Senior Data Systems Engineer at Genentech’s manufacturing facility in Vacaville, California, managing and building the software used to monitor the company’s processes. Craig William Taylor also assists the staff at Genentech in managing company data for statistical analysis and reporting.

Prior to his most recent stint at Genentech, Craig William Taylor provided technical support to non-profit electric utility California ISO in Folsom starting in 2001. As Plant Information Administrator at California ISO, Craig William Taylor developed and implemented metrics to analyze much of the utility’s operations, from local generator performance to the electrical output of the western United States power grid. Craig William Taylor also maintained consistent system reliability at California ISO. Craig William Taylor worked his first tenure at Genentech’s Vacaville facility in 1998 as a Database Engineer.

Craig William Taylor labored extensively to improve plant data analysis and also provided staff the proper tools needed to understand the facility’s technical operations. Previously, in 1996, Craig William Taylor used his technical skills to provide support at Roberts Technical Services in Pleasant Hill. As Systems Application Engineer, Craig William Taylor troubleshot software problems on the Plant Information server and maintained reports used to efficiently run a refinery. A northern California native, Craig William Taylor received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration at the University of California, Davis. Craig William Taylor currently resides in Granite Bay.
