Dan Harkey

As CEO and founder of multiple private money investment firms for over three decades, Dan Harkey has been a respected leader in the industry. He currently heads CalComm Capital, Inc. which facilitates commercial real estate loans for trust deed investors. Beyond managing day-to-day operations, Mr. Harkey keeps his fingers on the pulse of new industry laws and regulations. Dan Harkey was a legislative contributor to SB 1554, which was enacted in the late 1990s as an amendment to multi-lender provisions in the California Business & Professions Code.

A business administration graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Mr. Harkey began teaching as a business and math instructor at Los Alisos Intermediate School in Mission Viejo, California, in the early 1970s. He subsequently taught business at El Toro High School. He holds California lifetime teaching credentials.

Dan Harkey has been licensed as a California real estate broker/officer since 1975. From 1979 to 2013, Mr. Harkey led PCF, Inc., as CEO and President. Currently he manages CalComm Capital, Inc. in Irvine, CA. In demand as a guest speaker at professional events, Dan Harkey continues to inspire audiences and has authored a number of articles and books on private money lending and investments.
