Daniel Condon

Notable stage and screen actor Daniel Condon has spent more than 10 years perfecting his craft. Born in Evanston, Illinois, and raised in nearby Chicago, Daniel Condon attended Mount Carmel High School. A star athlete, Daniel Condon played on the varsity football team and participated in two Illinois State Championships. Following graduation from high school, Daniel Condon enrolled at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, where he began his collegiate studies in the performing arts. Daniel Condon later transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. As a result of his exemplary performance, Daniel Condon gained admission to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University to take advanced coursework in acting. In May 1998, Daniel Condon graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in performing arts.

After graduating from New York University, Daniel Condon appeared in a televised production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, or What You Will as Valentine. This performance would mark the beginning of a prolific career as a supporting and lead actor on television, stage, and screen. In 2000, Daniel Condon played Lewis Freeman on the short-lived WB series D.C. and a recurring character on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, followed by roles in the TV movie Feast of All Saints and on the long-running soap opera All My Children.

Daniel Condon appeared on the big screen alongside Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock in the 2002 action comedy Bad Company, directed by Joel Schumacher. Since then, Daniel Condon has acted in such hit shows as Sex in the City, Ed, Love Monkey, and The Bronx Is Burning. At present, Daniel Condon plays firefighter Franco Rivera on the FX series Rescue Me. Daniel Condon lives and works in New York City.
