David is currently working on a community organising intiative with the Trades Union Congress (TUC) in London. Previously the National Organiser for the award-winning anti-fascist HOPE not hate campaign, David, a lifelong Trade Unionist and community organiser, formally represented finance workers for trade union Unite before graduating at the TUC Organising Academy in 2006.

David is a member of the GMB trade union and currently sits on the GMB's National Equality Forum, London regional Equality Forum and is the co-founder of Young Workers' Month.
