I have worked as a photojournalist covering war, human rights issues, politics, and culture since 1999. I focused on stories around the identification of the missing people from war and disaster...meaning mass graves. Since returning to the US in 2007 from Istanbul, I have photographed wildland firefighting and juvenile justice issues.

I studied writing, radio, and photojournalism at U.C. Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism and war, post-conflict, and international human rights at the U.C. Berkeley Human Rights Center. My previous professions included computer programming, graphic design, web design and art direction.

I am currently developing a system for making photo books on the iPad. I will be establishing a publishing house for electronic photo and art books.

I am looking for collaborators for the Inside-Outside project advocacy apps, and the Evidence of War field guide to documenting war crimes and human rights abuses.
