I didn’t know what that job would be at the age of 10 - All I knew was that I was mesmerized by computers. While I didn’t own a computer just yet, we had used them in school for computer class. This was during the AOL days, where the internet was slow and you had to have patience just to visit a website.

After getting my first computer from my parents, I started discovering what the internet was all about. What impressed me the most was how you could create something online with pictures and shapes, and how others could see your creation and interact with it.

I began building websites with angelfire just to get the ropes down, while learning html and css. WordPress and Photoshop hadn’t came out yet, so until then, i had to learn the hard way.

As I progressed through the years, the internet became more advanced. I was able to learn more, and faster thanks to video tutorials. I started trying to mimic everything I could get my hands on to learn how to use tools in photoshop more efficiently.

I started my first real website as an iPad blog (when the iPad first came out). I would set up google news alerts and rewrite the major news that could come out about the iPad right when it came out. Ranking websites were much easier back then, so I used a lot of different link building techniques to help drive traffic to the blog for keywords such as “iPad” and “iPad News”. I ended up selling the site too early for roughly $2,000.00.

Since I felt I could duplicate the minor success I had with the iPad news site, i started over with another technology news website - this time going after the new Samsung Galaxy tablet that came out. I wrote more articles, created better links to rank higher faster, hired an additional writer to help with generating more content, and paid good money for a few “list” articles for the website. I ended up selling that website to a larger technology news company for $10,000.00.

I could have just continued creating and selling websites for myself, but I felt there was a need in my local area for good web design and marketing. I started reaching out to clients and started building a solid list of clients. Some of my clients I’ve had for 5 years and counting!
