Dr. Marion Carroll, originally from Mobile AL, has resided in New Orleans for the past 17 years with his family. He has spent 25 years as a scientist in biochemical and genetic research and teaching. In the last four years he has served as Assistant Dean then Director of First Year Student Success at Xavier University of Louisiana and recently accepted an opportunity as an Organic Chemical Analyst for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. Currently, he runs his own business, Environmental Care, Inc. as hazardous materials inspector, he consults for Innogenomics Technologies, and innovative forensics lab in New Orleans and teaches general chemistry to production technology majors at local community colleges online.

Dr. Carroll's passion is genomics. This passion will be exercised as he begins his new career as Chief Science Officer for GenoVive, LLC. GenoVive strives to improve health and lifestyles by structuring a personalized nutrition and exercise program based solely on an individual's genetic profile.
