Douglas Paone

With more than three decades of experience in internal medicine, Douglas Paone, MD, maintains a practice in Naples, Florida. He provides adults with primary care and is a member of the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Douglas Paone has experience in treating thrombosis and has been on the speaker’s bureau for the blood clot buster Lovenox. He has also presented on the Alzheimer’s medicine Aricept and delivered more than 50 lectures before medical peers and colleagues.

Dr. Paone maintained a hospital and office practice in Kansas City from 1980 to 2002. Responsible for patients’ day-to-day primary health care, he coordinated specialized treatments with outside physicians. He also held responsibilities for clinical instruction of medical students and residents for a decade. Dr. Paone achieved “Doctor of the Decade” distinction in 2000 and earned selection by Squire Magazine as among its "Best of Kansas City” multiple years running. Douglas Paone, MD, maintains a strong community presence and volunteered with a free health clinic over a period of three years.
