Dr James Summa

A diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, Dr. James Summa has been treating patients at White Rock Radiology Associates in Dallas, Texas for the past 14 years. As an interventional radiologist, he is fully trained to perform a wide variety of critical diagnostic and interventional procedures including stereotactic breast biopsies, kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty for spine fractures, dialysis catheter placement and dialysis fistula interventions. Fully qualified to practice in his field, Dr. James Summa holds a doctor of medicine from the Case Western University School of Medicine with a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology.

When not working, Dr. James Summa is an avid aviator and belongs to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association as well as the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Having obtained his private pilot’s license in 2000, he is able to fly as both an instrument and commercial pilot, and he was recently certified to fly single engine seaplanes. In addition to flying, Dr. Summa enjoys following sports, including his favorite pro basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks, and his favorite collegiate football squad, the Ohio State Buckeyes.
