Dr Naemi Stilman

A New York City-based psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with more than 30 years of dedicated training and experience, Dr. Naemi Stilman treats adults and children at her private practice. She began preparing for her career as a student at Yale University, where she earned a bachelor of arts in English. Following this, she earned a medical degree from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, after which she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine with the Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Later, Dr. Naemi Stilman completed a psychiatry residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as a fellowship in child psychiatry with the New York Hospital Cornell University Medical Center.

An active contributor to the advancement of knowledge in psychiatry, Dr. Naemi Stilman maintains affiliations with a number of professional organizations. She is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the New York Psychoanalytic Society, among other organizations. In addition, she is a member of the teaching faculty at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Stilman has written a number of articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed publications, such as the Journal of Clinical Psychoanalysis and Neurology. She is also a corresponding editor for the journal Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
