Nunya Irvine

As a dental practitioner with Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Dr. Nunya Irvine focuses on creating a positive patient experience characterized by thorough oral care education. Concentrating her efforts on the dental health of Chicago's under-served communities, Dr. Nunya Irvine strives to ensure that each patient understands the importance of regular hygiene and care. She comes to her role with a strong spiritual background, a solid and continuing educational background, and a genuine respect for each and every patient.

Dr. Nunya Irvine holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University's School of Dental Medicine, where she became a member of the Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity. Demonstrating a high level of leadership skill, she rose to the position of chapter president in her second year of membership. Dr. Irvine also earned several scholarships and awards over the course of her formal study, including the Dr. Reynold L. and Vivian Foutz Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding third-year dental students, and the American Association of Women Dentists' Colgate Research Award.

After receiving her doctoral degree, Dr. Irvine joined the team of Heartland Dental Care, a large practice with affiliates across the country. There, she garnered membership in Heartland's President's Club, an honor which recognized her as a top producing dentist in the company. She also earned the practice's Endodontic Achievement Award. In addition, Dr. Irvine began service as a general dentist at the Illinois Air National Guard's Scott Air Force Base, a position she continues to hold.

After a successful tenure at TCAHealth, a health center targeting Chicago's low income population, Dr. Nunya Irvine accepted her current position. She continues to pursue advanced dental education courses to ensure her familiarity with the latest industry developments. Dr. Irvine also maintains active involvement in such professional organizations as the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Association of Women Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry.
