Dr. Paul Syribeys

A plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Paul Syribeys maintains a private practice through Renaissance Plastic Surgery, P.C. and serves the United States as a Flight Surgeon in the Georgia Air National Guard. Dr. Paul Syribeys is a Lieutenant Colonel in the 116th Medical Group, operating out of Robins Air Force Base. A veteran of the Iraq War, Dr. Paul Syribeys has commanded expeditionary medical squads in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Paul Syribeys developed his sense of service and dedication as a Cadet at The Citadel in South Carolina. Earning his Bachelor of Science from the landmark military school, Dr. Paul Syribeys was one of a class of just 160 students accepted to the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Paul Syribeys completed his studies for his Doctor of Medicine in 1998 and went on to serve a residency in general surgery through the Greenville Hospital System. Following his residency, Dr. Paul Syribeys served in active duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Returning to Georgia in the summer of 2003, Dr. Paul Syribeys accepted a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, where he trained for three years under the premier plastic surgeons in this country. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Inc., Dr. Paul Syribeys is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the South Carolina Medical Association. Dr. Paul Syribeys takes part in the American College of Surgeons as a Candidate Group Participant. Representing the future leadership of the distinguished surgical association, Dr. Paul Syribeys attends chapter activities while pursuing full membership as a Fellow of the College.
