Edward Adams, a graduate of The University of Chicago Law School in Illinois, has more than two decades of experience as a professor of law. In 2014, he became a partner at the corporate law firm Adams Grumbles, LLP, in Minneapolis. As a professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, Edward Adams instructs students in various subject areas, including but not limited to bankruptcy filings and bankruptcy theory, corporate finance, creditor’s remedies and secured transactions, and banking law. During his time as a legal professor he has received a number of accolades and awards. In 1998 he was named the university’s Vance K. Opperman Research Scholar, and between 1997 and 2000 he served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

As a practitioner of law at Adams Grumbles, LLP, Mr. Adams handles a client base consisting mostly of start-up companies. He assists these businesses in various areas of corporate law, including intellectual property and corporate transactional practices.
