Elizabeth Wilson

I am a violin, viola and guitar instructor with over 25 years' experience teaching children and adults in private tutoring, and primary, secondary, and third level instruction. I also teach music theory through Junior Certificate level.

My aim for students is for them to enjoy learning as they progress in their studies. The violin and viola teaching is traditional (Galamian inspired), incorporating Suzuki, and bringing students through the RIAM levels if desired, and is suitable for beginners to advanced students. The guitar teaching is traditional for beginners, with varied methods to suit intermediate students.

In addition to teaching, I have played professionally in the Erie Philharmonic (Erie, Pennsylvania), the Glens Falls Symphony (Glens Falls, New York) and the Schenectady Symphony (Schenectady, New York), as well as Irish traditional fiddle, guitar, and singing in bands.
