I am a writer. I write screenplays, novels, magazine articles, short and long stories, plays, brochures, speeches, press releases, interactive scripts, videos and advertising. I worked in the ad industry, as a creative director, for over 25 years; I am currently head writer for The Proud & Privileged, an African American daytime drama which I co-created.. I founded the Black Screenwriters Association in 1991. Today it is the National Association of Black Screenwriters and I am a Board Director & Founder. I wrote a movie that was produced entitled "Up Against the Wall"; I wrote lyrics for "Godfather of House Music, Rap to the Wise (Kurtis Blow); Blood is Thicker than Water, (theme song for radio drama). Wrote children's book, "It's Good to Be Me" illustrated by Seitu Hayden; I wrote two mini-dramas for a CBS program hosted by Merry Dee entitled Take 2; wrote featured song on Harold Washington Memorial Album, wrote Law Day Guide for American Bar Association, stage play entitled "Stop"; wrote "Bronx Rhythms and Jim Crow Blues" a memoir; wrote two TV specials for Journeys in Black, Honorable Lewis Farrakhan, and Kirk Franklin; wrote and co-produced TV special, "Blacks in Advertising: was regular columnist for Spiritual Perspective Magazine, and Saints Magazine (thus saintswriter email address) Also President & Founder of LEAD4Justice Organization and Hope 4 Justice.
