Filmfest Berlin Lichtenberg 2014

Das "filmfestivalberlinlichtenberg 2014" ist nun vorrüber. Der Abbau läuft und wir hatten vier klasse Tage mit 33 Filmbeiträgen, interessanten Gesprächsrunden und einem äußerst spannenden Kurzfilmwettbewerb. Ab nächste Woche werden wir uns dann daran machen, die Pläne für das kommende Jahr zu besprechen. Es gibt schon einige Ideen!

"What's the Festival about?"

Freedom became a trite expression, colorless and stale, overused by everyone in any conceivable context. Because of this, it‘s becoming increasingly difficult to explain it clearly, let alone articulate in a meaningful way. Not uncommon for many expressions.

In our opinion, we don’t want its meaning to disappear as a trivial phrase into oblivion, and for that reason, our film festival aims to give new perspective on, new impressions and depth into the meaning of „freedom.“ We like to select and find movies that at first glance don’t focus directly on the meaning of freedom, but inevitably confront confront us with it. For example, freedom in the family, in a relationship, choice of our food, choice of our career path, place of residence, dealing with decisions, sexual identity, and much more.

If you are a filmmaker and have a suitable project, get in contact with us! Films can be filed until 15th of October 2014. The Festival will take place 6th-9th November 2014.
