Franklin Cockerill

Franklin Cockerill is an accomplished academician and businessman having achieved many career milestones, most recently serving as CEO of Mayo Medical Laboratories and Chair Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Mayo Clinic. Despite the challenges of his career including long hours spent on the job, Cockerill makes sure set-aside time to maintain his physical fitness. The avid runner trains for marathons. Franklin Cockerill ran the Med City Marathon in Rochester, Minnesota 10 consecutive years. Most recently, he has concentrated on interval training which includes short but intense running intervals at various inclines.
