Business Intelligence has been a passion of mine for a while now. However, what has always been a hindrance to what I term "True BI", is the implementation and delivery mechanisms available. Although there are tools and "platforms", the time and effort required to deliver a flexible, scalable, robust solution has been more challenging than I expected.
SharePoint, for me, has shown great promise. Between all the hype, SharePoint seems to be the future of ECM, BPM and ultimately Enterprise BI. We will see. I will keep everyone who follows me up to date with my challenges, my research, my experiences.
