
There are two kinds of people: people who make stuff and people who sell stuff. I dabble in making but at my core, I'm a seller. Marketing, storytelling, branding, communicating, persuading is all selling.
I have spent the last 10 years helping start-ups, Internet companies, media publishers and brands better understand the ways in which consumer trends and emerging technologies are shaping the future of their businesses.
Currently head of planning at an agency. Got my start in editorial, was a fashion blogger, became a community manager, designed a few social Web products, built an agency within an agency (social media, paid media, analytics), helped a couple of start-ups with their positioning (audience acquisition and engagement strategies).
