He came to Viewpoints from Localeze, where Gib led product strategy & market development. During his tenure, Localeze invented and sold business listing identity management to over a million paying businesses and became the backbone of local search data for more than 300 local search platforms & applications. Over the past decade, Gib has become a recognized thought leader in local search and speaks frequently at search industry conferences like BIA/Kelsey, PubCon, SES and SMX. Additionally he has written columns on Search Engine Land, MediaPost and Visibility Magazine.

Prior to joining Localeze, Gib was a business development director at iCrossing helping major brands like Proctor & Gamble, General Motors, General Mills & Toyota understand and participate in Organic Search Engine Optimization. He also held positions with Chicago.Citysearch.com, Ameritech Yellow Pages and Advo helping SMB's market and grow their businesses via multiple forms of media

Personally, I am blessed. I love coaching youth sports, I bleed baseball. Nothing beats a day sitting in the sun, the smell of cut grass in the air, my family nearby and a baseball game of any level going on.
